The Huawei Inverter SUN2000-60KTL-MO is a smart string inverter used in commercial installations. The inverter can reach a high efficiency (98,9% max efficiency, 98,7% European efficiency). The device is very safe and reliable because of different applied solutions.

Up to 12 strings can be connected to this inverter. Which can be, individually, per string, monitored. There are 6 MPPTs to optimize connected solar modules. Shading and differences in the way each module of the setup is positioned have less of an impact on performance.

Safety and reliability

A Huawei Inverter SUN2000-60KTL MO (66kW) – 400V has an IP65 rating, meaning the device is protected from water and corrosion entering the device. The risk of fire because of electric arcs is minimized since there is no need for DC Combiner Boxes or fuses. Instead of a fuse, there is an RCMU, or a Residual Current Monitoring Unit. These monitor stray currents and in case of an error or fault will send a signal to terminate the current. Also present is a Type 2 SPD for both DC and AC.
