The risk of fire because of electric arcs is minimized since there is no need for DC Combiner Boxes or fuses. Instead of a fuse, there is an RCMU, or a Residual Current Monitoring Unit. These monitor stray currents and in case of an error or fault will send a signal to terminate the current. Also present is a Type 2 SPD for both DC and AC.
