The EcoBoost MPPT solar charge controller brings Morningstar’s proprietary TrakStar Technology to our new line of Essentials

controllers and accessories. The EcoBoost controllers automatically detect 12 or 24 V system configuration. They are highly efficient and accurate controllers designed to ensure that batteries attain a complete state of charge.

They are also sophisticated load controllers. Using this feature to manage DC power consumption protects the batteries from over discharge and helps ensure long-term system reliability. Small DC loads can be powered directly from the EcoBoost by way of two USB
charging ports.

The FLEXmax family of charge controllers is the latest innovation in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) charge controllers from OutBack Power. The innovative FLEXmax MPPT software algorithm is both continuous and active, increasing your photovoltaic array power yield up to 30% compared to non-MPPT controllers. The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely depleted battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulphated or otherwise damaged.

The SmartSolar MPPT RS solar charge controllers are Victron’s solution for systems with large series-connected PV arrays charging 48 V DC battery banks. This product is perfect for large off-grid, and grid-connected battery systems.

SmartSolar Display

The SmartSolar RS charge controller is equipped with a display on the front panel. The display reads battery volts, charge current and voltages from both array’s individually including instantaneous and total figures and unit status including any possible error codes.

I/O Connections

The SmartSolar RS charge controller is equipped with a programmable relay and options for remote temperature and voltage sensing. The remote input can accept the Victron smallBMS and other types of BMS with allow-to-charge signals.
